Formula SAE Team
UND FSAE is a collegiate team with the goal of building an open-wheeled, formula style, racecar. The team participates in competition each year against 120 other programs at Michigan International Speedway. Competition is a combination of driving (dynamic) events and static events wherein students are challenged not only on their vehicles performance but also its conception and design process.
The FSAE project at UND provides a unique outlet for all students to practice the lessons learned in the classroom, and aims to develop engineering skills participants will bring into industry upon graduation.
